Improve individual and team communication
Forté Communication Profiling System
The Forté communication tool is regarded as a key element in personal development, career development, teaming, coaching, especially executive coaching, and maximizing relationships in one's professional or personal lives. Today, the Forté is one of the leading-edge hiring and selection tools for building teams. The process is used extensively throughout North America for developing sales specialists and team capabilities to recognize and respond effectively to the wide variety of communication styles.
Cenera consultants have used Forté extensively to assist clients and often leaders, to identify their communication styles as well as assisting leaders and teams maximize and improve team performance.
Forté is a significant advance in interpersonal performance understanding, management and development. Developed in 1978, Forté has proven the test of time and is recognized as a global leader in helping individuals, teams and organizations understand and maximize their strengths.
Designed to also enhance interpersonal relationships, Forté identifies and maximizes the "real world" understanding of individual and team communication styles and minimizes the chances for misunderstandings and conflicts.
How does Forté work?
The early research into lexical theory (of or relating to words or the vocabulary of a language as distinguished from its grammar and construction) was done by Galton, (1894) and suggested that communication style strengths are captured in the words that people use to describe one another. This concept has passed on to other behavioural scientists over time, including C. D. Morgan III, the Author/Developer of the Forté Communication Style Profile (1978) and Founder of The Forté Institute. The key to the Forté system is its simple-to-complete survey questionnaire. The Forté Primary Profile (Survey 1) brings together the respondent's lifetime communication style strengths and provides an extremely accurate understanding of one's personal and interpersonal preferences, including how the respondent is SELF-MOTIVATED.
The Forté Adapting Profile (Survey 2) identifies how the respondent has been adapting to an unlimited number of others/environments for the past 30 days and further captures the respondent's current decision-making style, current stamina and current goals index. The Forté Perceiver Profile, generated from Surveys 1 and 2, shares with the respondent how they are "most likely" coming across to others. Also included is a Communication Style Strategy to use for the next 30-days. The Forté Adapting Update process (Survey 3) updates and generates text/graphing of how the respondent is adapting to others/environments as often as every 30 days.
The Forté system is Internet based, as an Application Service Provider (ASP). Optional Certification and training is available via Cenera.
