Deanna is skilled in strategic and operational planning, facilitation, mediation, supporting change management, optimizing business processes, and workforce engagement strategies. With more than twenty years’ experience in the public sector working with individuals and leading teams, she has championed nationally recognized quality improvement initiatives and led innovative, provincial-level engagement strategies.

 Deanna is passionate about bringing people together around a shared vision to achieve more than they could achieve individually. She has acquired diverse HR experiences, including hands-on involvement with system-level change management, and stakeholder engagement. She is a skilled facilitator and has worked at all levels of an organization to identify opportunities and solutions for improvement and to build the workforce capabilities, systems, tools, and processes required to execute strategic initiatives. She leverages emerging trends, best practices, research, and her own experience to drive the desired outcomes in working with clients.

 Known for her warmth and client-centric approach, Deanna works with teams through listening and learning to understand an issue from multiple perspectives, breaking down complex problems into concrete, manageable pieces, and working towards solutions together.  She loves to dive in and co-create ways to bring good ideas to life.

 Deanna holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Fredericton, a Master of Social Work (MSW) from McGill University, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Brandon University.  She also has a certificate in Conflict Resolution from the Justice Institute of British Columbia, PROSCI Change Management, and in Public Engagement through the International Association of Public Participation (IAP2).
