Joan is a dynamic and accomplished leader who has been with Cenera since 2011. She heads the HR Consulting practice, where she oversees a team of talented and dedicated Consultants who provide various HR services to clients across different sectors and sizes. Joan is also the leader of Cenera's Workplace Investigations (WI) team, which offers professional and impartial investigations for any type of workplace issue. Joan developed Cenera's WI process, trains and mentors the Investigation Team, and ensures the quality and integrity of the workplace investigations.

 Joan is not only a leader, but also a learner. She is passionate about access and privacy legislation and how it affects organizations and individuals. She is a member of the Privacy and Information Management practice, where she helps clients navigate the complex and evolving privacy landscape. Joan has a knack for making privacy concepts clear and engaging, and she loves to share her insights on legislation and policy issues.

 Joan has a BA in Political Science from the University of Regina, a law degree from the University of Saskatchewan, and is a certified Master of the Canadian Institute of Access and Privacy Professionals (CIAPP). She also holds the Women In Leadership certification from Cornell University.
