Empowering Your Workforce: Cenera’s Comprehensive Approach to the Successful Employee Lifecycle

Navigating the entire employee lifecycle is pivotal in today's business landscape. It encourages your organization to evaluate and continually improve the employee experience at every stage.

Human Resources is about so much more than merely hiring and managing personnel; it’s about building a workforce that’s engaged, skilled, and aligned with your organization's vision and values.

Cenera’s vast expertise, built over almost 30 years in the Human Resources industry, equips us to guide organizations through every crucial stage of the employee life cycle and we offer businesses end-to-end tailored HR solutions that emphasize the importance of mastering each stage for organizational success.

Let’s explore each stage a little more closely.

Talent Acquisition

Effective talent acquisition is the foundation of a robust workforce, as it not only brings in skilled individuals but also ensures a good fit with the organization’s culture and values, ultimately leading to higher productivity, innovation, and long-term organizational success.

Cenera’s search and recruitment services focus on identifying candidates who are not just a fit for the job but are likely to thrive within your organization’s unique environment. We help reduce turnover and establish a strong foundation for sustained growth. Our approach is centered on fostering long-term success rather than resorting to quick, temporary fixes.

How we can help:

  • Cenera’s suite of pre-employment assessment tools acts as effective due diligence for every potential hire.

  • Our experts listen to your needs and design a recruitment approach accordingly, letting you get on with other business activities.

  • We offer comprehensive executive-level and manager-level recruitment processes combined with robust 90-day integration training to help you hire with confidence.

According to Zippia, 72% of employers find it challenging to acquire the skilled candidates they’re seeking. That’s 7 out of 10 companies. In addition, these numbers are actually at a 15-year high, and the trend looks only to become more challenging for employers.

In this taxing environment, organizations are wise to lean on experts to gain an edge in the competing recruitment environment. Leverage Cenera’s expertise to get this first stage right.

Onboarding and Engagement

Once you’ve hired the right talent, their successful integration becomes the focus of your HR efforts. If managed well, your onboarding could take up to 1 year depending on the complexity of your organization.

This phase is crucial in building a strong employer-employee relationship. Cenera’s human resources consulting services help you ensure new hires feel welcomed, valued, and prepared to contribute effectively, setting them and your organization up for success.

We’ll help you provide comprehensive training tailored to your organizational needs. While this training aims to get employees up to speed and perform job duties effectively, it is equally important to help foster healthy employee relations and trust in the new workplace.

You already know the candidate is suitable thanks to a comprehensive talent acquisition process and a great onboarding process is all about laying solid foundations upon which your new hires can work to fulfill their potential.

Despite many organizations understanding the importance of onboarding, only half of employees report being satisfied with their onboarding processes. This is not the first impression you want your new hire to have. Allow us to help you create memorable and long-lasting impact on your new employees.

Career Development

Development doesn’t end once onboarding is complete. In truth, a healthy workplace culture should emphasize constant learning as a foundational principle.

Continual employee development allows you to transform potential into performance, increasing productivity through higher-skilled - and more-engaged - employees.

A comprehensive employee retention program plays a vital role in both attracting and retaining key employees and can reduce the costs associated with frequent employee turnover.

Five factors seem to surface as the leading contributors to job satisfaction, and in turn, retention, and they include:

  1. Respectful treatment of all employees at all levels.

  2. Compensation/pay.

  3. Trust between employees and senior management.

  4. Job security.

  5. Opportunities to use individual skills and abilities at work.

Through Cenera’s coaching and leadership development programs, employees are given the opportunity to acquire new skills and refine existing ones, which is vital for their personal growth and your organization’s success.

Further, our online training options offer flexibility, making learning accessible and convenient, crucial for continuous professional development in a fast-paced world.

Performance Management

Effective individual performance management is key to aligning individual goals with organizational objectives.

It involves setting clear expectations, providing regular feedback, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Cenera helps companies craft performance management systems that are fair, transparent, and conducive to both recognizing achievements and addressing challenges proactively.

Our performance management systems act as an extension of the onboarding and development programs outlined above - the underlying purpose is about building meaningful relationships in which all stakeholders in the workplace are invested in better performance, both at the company and the individual level.

Succession Planning

Succession planning ensures leadership continuity and organizational stability. It involves identifying and preparing future leaders to take on key roles to minimize any disruptions associated with a change in management or organizational structure.

Cenera aids in this process by helping organizations foresee future needs and develop internal talent pools, including offering leadership training and resources as mentioned above.

Succession planning allows your organization to have the foresight that is essential in times of growth or even rightsizing. Maintaining momentum during these changes in leadership is critical to business success.

Our team can help you with the following:

  • 1:1 coaching for new leaders

  • General upskilling and reskilling workshops

  • Retirement planning for outgoing leaders

  • Delicate handling of terminations

  • Managing transitions with minimal impact on morale and productivity

Coaching lies at the heart of our approach and Cenera will help you navigate employee transitions, in whatever form they take, with care, integrity, and respect..

Workforce Planning

Hand in hand with succession planning is the broader need for strategic workforce planning. This is all about preparing your organization for the future by keeping tabs on industry trends, changing employee expectations, and continuously aligning employee relations with broader, updated strategic business goals.

That’s a considerable task to tackle on your own.

Workforce planning encompasses understanding the evolving market dynamics and ensuring that the organization has the right talent in place to meet future challenges and capitalize on any opportunities that arise.

Cenera’s expertise guides businesses in making informed decisions about talent allocation and development, which is critical for sustaining competitiveness in an increasingly challenging landscape.
